The Holidays

This year's holidays have been full of ups and downs, like the rest of life lately and I think that is why. People are too stressed to not take things to heart, no matter what is said. It is too bad but this time of the year always brings its own load of stress; lack of money, missing family members and friends, running into people you dont want to, looking back on the past year, etc. So it is understandable why it would be so stress filled. But good comes with the bad. It was nice to spend time with family and friends that I do not get to see very often. I even got to have a really good conversation with my brother out in BC on Christmas day. So over all it was a nice holiday, not necessarily as restful as I had hoped but good anyway.

And I got some really cool stuff!!

Hope that everyone had a good and relaxing holiday. Merry Christmas; Happy Channuka; Happy Yule; Happy Kwaanza and anything else that I may have missed.

The Nightmare Before Christmas

So Chris and I dropped by the Loop last nite and I saw something that made me giggle with delight; Next Friday they are having a Nightmare Before Christmas dress-up party to make up for being closed on Halloween!!!

Right smack in the middle of exams I know, but I think we could all use a bit of a breather, so I propose we all get together and go. Maybe just for a bit but I think it would do everyone some good to just go out and have some good ol' fashioned fun.

So who's with me?!? *smile*

Listen up....

It has been awhile since I last posted and there are a couple of reasons for that. First life has been way too stress filled to worry about what is going on in the land of blogs (sorry guys) and secondly it seemed kinda pointless as everyone seems to have their own version of the life in this house right now. I have heard some pretty impressive things and have been accused of doing some stuff that I wish I had of been around for. It bothers me that most people dont come to any of the sources involved to get facts; instead the grape vine seems to be doing some impressive work. All I am going to say on the matter is this, so listen up if you are interested:

Richard and I are even. Even steven. On a level playing field. Both have made some mistakes and hurt the other person, but we are even. Now we are going to try to salvage a friendship, because we both still want to be apart of each others lives. It will take time but is possible. If you truly want to help then please support this; if not, then please screw off. Enough people are involved as it is, we do not need any more tension then is already here.

To those of you who have made a point to know the facts before passing judgement, I thank you with my whole heart. There needs to be more people like you in this world.
